Horizontal on cold tile
fingers stretch to fondle
phone. Call 9-1-1.

Rescue squad strains
to put Humpty-Dumpy
back in his wheelchair.

Constant paranoia,
fear of falling,
fear of impact.

Vertically challenged:
toes clutch possibility
of fatal plunge.

object.
